From our first repair workstation in Bonn to the largest data recovery community in the German-speaking world – a journey shaped by precision and patience.
A new standard for Bonn.
Handyarzt began as a response to a growing frustration: smartphones were becoming increasingly complex, while genuine repair expertise was becoming harder to find. In a small workshop in central Bonn, we focused on what customers were missing – honest diagnosis, transparent prices, and repairs that last.
Data recovery becomes a specialty.
Building our own data recovery lab was the logical next step: too many devices arrived with water or drop damage whose data had long been considered lost elsewhere. Since then, we have been recovering photos, chats, and documents right here in Bonn – without involving third parties.

Investments in microscopes, infrared soldering equipment, and chip programmers made logic board repair our second core service. Instead of routinely replacing expensive assemblies, we work at component level – with millimeter precision, targeting individual components, often where manufacturers have already declared a device beyond repair.
